Every operator goes through a training period of several weeks before they are allowed to take calls on their own. We follow the guidelines of the ATSI Award of Excellence for our training. Once the operator is put on the phones by themselves they are only allowed to take calls on less intensive accounts. The amount of calls a new operator takes is slowly expanded over a three month period to include the full account base at MTC.
We utilize an efficient method of delivering messages to our clients. Every operator is initially trained to be a Call Taker. The Call Taker is responsible for taking the initial message from the caller. After the call has been disconnected the message is transferred, automatically, to a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher is then responsible for all of the messages that go out of our system to our clients for his or her shift.
